Apple announces iPad changes raising the stakes in the battle for top tablet platform

On October 16th, Apple held their second event this fall to officially announce the release of their iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 devices, just one day after a surprise leak was made by the company via iBooks.  The iPad news was not the only big announcement; Apple also made big announcements for iMac, iOS X Yosemite and Apple Pay.
